Residential Program
Pathways
MORE’s residential living services provide supportive housing for adults with developmental disabilities. In 1981, MORE built a custom home called “Pathways” to offer residential training for 12 adults, each with their own bedroom. At Pathways, residents are supported by staff to develop life skills in areas such as health management, money management, and home upkeep. The program emphasizes a family-like atmosphere, teaching interpersonal communication and fostering productive relationships with housemates.
Residents are integrated into the community through various activities and events. The focus is on building confidence and independence, with the goal of helping residents live fulfilling lives and prepare for independent living if desired. Pathways offers a safe, nurturing space that promotes personal growth, self-sufficiency, and community involvement, ensuring that each resident can lead their best life.
